Filmmaker Atlee Kumar's directorial Jawan, also marked his debut in Bollywood. It premiered on Friday, September 7, and fans have swamped the cinema halls across the nation for early 6 and 5 am shows.

Jawan marks south lady superstar Nayanthara's Bollywood debut and also has Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover in key roles. While Deepika Padukone has an extended cameo role.
