Pakistani Woman Seema Haider To Make Her Entry In Bollywood, Set To Play RAW Agent? Here's What We Know
Seema Haider Bollywood Film: Pakistani national Seema Haider has been in the news ever since she entered India illegally to stay with the man she fell in love with while playing the online game PUBG.
The 30-year-old is now said to be making her entry into Bollywood. Yes, you heard that right. Seema will soon be seen in a movie titled "A Tailor Murder Story". Read below to knwo more about it.
Pakistani woman Seema Haider to make her Bollywood entry in a film as RAW agent
On Tuesday, a team from Jani Firefox Production House met Seema in Greater Noida and also took her audition for their upcoming film "A Tailor Murder Story," which is based on the murder of Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal by Islamic radicals.
According to reports, directors Jayant Sinha and Bharat Singh took her audition. Interestingly, Seema has been under police and security agencies's radar as a suspect for being an ISI agent and will reportedly be playing the role of a RAW officer in the movie.
The Pakistani national, however, has not yet given her consent to act in the film and has said that she will accept the film's offer only after getting a clean chit from Uttar Pradesh's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).
This comes after a video of Seema and Sachin's went viral that showed their difficulties after they moved to a new house in UP. The couple claimed that they were struggling to make ends meet and were facing shortages of food and other necessities.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani national has not yet given her consent to act in the film. She said that once she gets a clean chit from Uttar Pradesh's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), then only she can accept the film offer.
About Kanhaiya Lal murder
A tailor named Kanhaiya Lal was beheaded in broad daylight by Mohammd Riyaz Attari and Ghouse Mohammed in Rajasthan's Udaipur. Both men entered Lal's shop posing as customers and also recorded a video admitting that they had killed the tailor over his social media post supporting Nupur Sharma.
For the unversed, Nupur had sparked a major controversy for her remarks on Prophet Muhammad. The beheading had led to religious tensions in the city.
As per reports, Kanhaiya's wife and son have given an NOC (No Objection Certificate) to producer Amit Jani. The producer has welcomed Seema's conversion into Hinduism.
India Today reported that "A Tailor Murder Story" will be made on a budget of around Rs 25 crore to Rs 30 crore. The shoot will likely begin in November 2023.
Seema Haider & Sachin Meena love story
Mother of four, Seema, and Sachin, 22, fell in love while playing PUBG. Both met in Nepal, and got married as per Hindu rituals after Seema converted to Hinduism. Both then entered India, on May 13 with her children.
On July 4, Seema was arrested for sneaking into India, and Sachin and his father were detained for providing her shelter. They were released on bail after a few days, and a probe is underway.
Her estranged husband, Ghulam, works in Saudi Arabia and wishes to reunite with his wife and children. However, Seema refuses to go back to Pakistan.
