Shah Rukh Khan's Viral Video: In the midst of the ongoing controversy surrounding Sandeep Reddy Vanga's latest film, Animal, an old video of Shah Rukh Khan is going viral on social media. The video shows the actor candidly discussing his opinion on portraying characters that glorify negativity on screen.

Animal, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. The controversy surrounding Animal centers on its portrayal of a toxic character with a misogynistic approach.

Ranbir's role, despite being the protagonist, has drawn massive criticism for portraying a character with problematic traits. In contrast, SRK's video, shared widely on social media, shows him opening up on his refusal to play characters that may indirectly romanticize real-life individuals with undesirable qualities.

In the viral video, Shah Rukh Khan can be heard stating, "There were a couple of films that did very well at the box office, and I was in them, and then I realized I was playing a real-life character who may not be the person and I told the director that there is no way I'll not make him likable. And I just feel that person should not be liked, it's not something I should sell to the people."

He continued, "It's okay being him, the film being about him, but I shouldn't glorify it. So I left the film last minute, it was a clear-cut decision in my head." Shah Rukh Khan emphasized his belief that certain characters should not be portrayed in a likable manner, despite the potential attractiveness of playing a 'bad guy.'

In response to the controversy surrounding Animal, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga expressed his desire to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan in the future. However, fans on social media have speculated that Shah Rukh Khan's principled stance may prevent such a collaboration from materializing.

Netizens took to the comments section to express their opinion. A user wrote, "that's the difference between srk and drugbir." Another user wrote, "If SRK does Sandeep Reddy Vanga's movie, SRK will change the script... Kabir Singh ko Rahul bana dega...." A third user said, "King King kinggggggggggggg screaming at the top of my voice."

While Animal has faced criticism for its content, the film has managed to cross the Rs 500 crore mark at the box office within a week of its release. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his next film, Dunki, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 22.
