Viral Delhi Metro Girl Rhythm Chanana Is Reportedly Charging 50K For Interviews, Here's What We Know!

Rhythm Chanana: A 19-year-old aspiring model-actress from Delhi named Rhythm Chanana who went viral after her videos and pictures wearing outlandish outfits went viral. She was seen travelling on the Delhi metro train in barely there clothes-a bra and a micromini skirt. Dubbed the 'Delhi Metro Viral Video Girl', Rhythm has since been facing severe backlash for causing public nudity.

As soon as Rhythm Chanana's pictures were uploaded on social media, they spread like wildfire and have been under public scrutiny for her bizarre sartorial choices. On the other hand, many blamed the fellow passenger who took her video without content and violated her privacy. The girl, meanwhile, has appeared on several news channels, giving interviews. In an interview with India Today, Rhythm was seen saying that she hailed from a conservative family and wasn't allowed to do what she loved.

She has suddenly seen huge growth on her social media account and stated that negative comments don't bother her. Speaking to a news channel, she also said that it's her right to decide what she should wear and not anyone else's. She said, "I don't care what people have to say," adding that she didn't do it purposely for fame.

However, a journalist on Thursday claimed that Rhythm Chanana has been demanding a hefty amount from news channels for TV interviews.

Taking to Twitter, a journalist from Delhi revealed in a lengthy post that news channels are paying Rhythm Chanana around Rs 50,000 for interviews. The post also states that the viral girl also has a manager who takes calls on her behalf and schedules all the meetings, meanwhile, calling it a "paid promotion." Take a look at the tweet here.

On the contrary, Rhythm shared in an Instagram video that she had not given any interviews to media outlets and that news outlets were spreading misinformation and lies about her. Clarifying her stance, Rhythm said in an interview, "I want to clarify that I have not given any interview to any media house yet, and all the things being said about me in the news and in the press are untrue. Fake news is being spread about me.

ON BEING COMPARED TO UORFI JAVED

Looking at her fashion sense, many social media users compared Rhythm Chanana to Bigg Boss OTT star Uorfi Javed. However, she claimed that she was not inspired by Javed and said that she has been travelling in similar outfits for a long time. She belongs to Fatehgarh Sahib, a city in Punjab, and in an interview with Aaj Tak, Rhythm Chanana stated that she doesn't get along well with her family due to her open mindset. Currently, she is taking a course in acting and wants to become a successful model.
