AIESEC & Harola Government Primary School Host ‘Balkalakaar 2024’: A Day of Art For Underprivileged Children

Noida, India: On August 10, 2024, AIESEC, a global non-profit organization, in collaboration with Harola Government Primary School, Sector 5, Noida, successfully organized the much-anticipated 'Balkalakaar 2024'. This event aimed to provide a platform for underprivileged children to express their creativity and talent, fostering a sense of inclusivity and community.

The event, held from 8 AM to 2 PM, saw the participation of 550 enthusiastic children, supported by 150 dedicated volunteers and the AIESEC team. The day was filled with joy, creativity, and a sense of accomplishment as the children engaged in various art workshops and competitions designed to inspire and empower them.

Event Overview:

This year's Balkalakaar was themed 'Imagination, Art, and Inclusion'. The event featured a series of art workshops, including origami, drawing, coloring, and painting, providing the children with the tools and guidance to explore their creative potential. To ensure the highest quality of instruction, AIESEC partnered with esteemed art academies such as Karan Fine Arts Academy, Ashi Art and Craft Classes, Shweta Art Classes, Nimit Artworks, and Himanshu Art Institute. These academies not only conducted the workshops but also judged the children's artworks, selecting the winners based on creativity and expression.

Competition and Awards:

The event culminated in an art competition where three winners were selected from each grade category. These talented young artists were honored with prizes, bringing smiles to their faces and a sense of pride in their accomplishments. Balkalakaar 2024 succeeded in nurturing the children's interest in art and creativity, providing them with an unforgettable experience.
