On Wednesday, Faye D'Souza shared a post lending a hand of support to Deepika Padukone who has been immensely trolled for her pregnancy during the Mumbai Polling last week. D'Souza wrote, "Dear Social Media, Deepika Padukone stepped out to do her democratic duty and vote. She did not ask for your feedback on her body or her pregnancy. You have no right to comment on any aspect of her life. Stop it. Behave."

The post garnered immense support from netizens along with Alia Bhatt, her mother, Soni Razdan, and her sisters Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt. Other than them, the post got support from influencers like Kushal Kapila.

So, it all started with Deepika Padukone going to cast her vote alongside her husband, Ranveer Singh in the latest Lok Sabha Elections. Deepika could be seen sporting a pair of jeans and a white shirt coupled with a pair of black goggles. She seemed to have a problem while walking which netizens tagged as 'faking'.
