Recently, an old video of the actor from 2019 resurfaced on the internet where he can be seen rescuing a girl from a suicide attempt. His brave act is gaining traction, and netizens are hailing him.

Manjot Singh's in an old video clip is seen saving a girl from committing suicide. The video that is going viral on social media is from 2019, when he, during his college years, saved the life of an 18-year-old girl with his heroic act.

Before entering the film industry, Manjot was pursuing his studies at Sharda University in Greater Noida. When the incident happened, he was in his fourth-year BTech.

The girl, who was later admitted to Sharda Hospital, was sitting on the ledge of the second-floor terrace of the college building in an attempt to jump after an alleged argument with her mother.

As we see in the video, Manjot swiftly rushed to the spot and grabbed her arms just in time when she jumped. Two more people came to help him and pulled the girl up, averting a potential fatal tragedy.

Manjot, who hails from Jammu, spoke about the incident to the Hindustan Times and stated that the girl was threatening to jump if anyone came closer to her. She remained unaffected by any counsel at that time.

"I initiated a conversation, asking if she faced any trouble or if there was a disagreement," mentioned Manjot. "She mentioned a disagreement with her mother. I cautiously moved closer to her. However, as soon as I approached, she jumped," he added.

Following this, the Sikh community in Delhi honoured Manjot and also assured him that they would bear all his expenses for civil service exams.
