Ayushmann Khurrana singing Dil Dil Pakistan: Recently, several A-list Bollywood celebs, including Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and others, visited Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony of newly-built Ram Mandir on January 22.
Actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana, too, sought blessings at the temple. And now, days after this ceremony, a video of Ayushmann singing 'Dil Dil Pakistan' is going crazy viral on social media.
The video didn't sit well with the netizens who are slamming him for the same. Many even called the actor anti-national.

A video clip of Ayushmann Khurrana singing "Dil Dil Pakistan" at a concert venue was shared on social media. It's an unofficial Pakistani patriotic song that was originally composed and released by the Pak band Vital Signs in 1987.
Sharing the video, a Twitter user wrote, "The clown @ayushmannk was singing "Dil Dil Pakistan" when Pakistanis were kiIIing our soldiers & innocent citizens.. No wonder he's so upset to see #RamMandir."

Truth behind Ayushmann Khurrana's viral video
Since then, the video has garnered massive backlash on the internet; however, it is being shared in a misleading context. It is an old video that dates back to 2017 and shows Khurrana, along with his actor brother Aparshakti Khurrana, performing at a concert in Dubai.
The video being shared is misleading because it does not give the entire context behind singing the song, nor does it state that the actor has sung some Indian songs as well, like 'Chak De India'.
A longer version of the same video is available on YouTube, which shows Ayushmann paying tribute to people from different states and regions, such as Punjabi, Uttar Pradesh, Bengali, and South India.
After he sang all these songs, he sang Dil Dil Pakistan and Chak De India along with his brother Aparshakti Khurrana. The actor in the video is heard saying, "This one is for our Pakistani friends" and proceeds to sing the song named 'Dil Dil Pakistan'. Following this, the duo performed the popular Hindi song 'Chak De India'.
The video has been shared by an unverified channel named Selfie TV, which shared the video with the caption, "Ayushman Khurana Giving Tribute to all asian countries through his punjabi singing in Dubai."
According to a report by Gulf News, Indian actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Pakistani actor Ali Zafar were going to perform together in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on October 27, 2017.
Khurrana, too, had shared a glimpse from the concert in 2017.
Therefore, the clip is not only deceptive but also a way to malign Ayushmann's name.
