Actor Shanto Khan Beaten To Death: Bangladesh is experiencing widespread violence following the departure of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from the country. Prominent figures in Bangladesh are falling victim to this turmoil. Local media has confirmed that actor Shanto Khan and his father were brutally attacked by a mob in Chandpur, Bangladesh. Reports indicate that both individuals have tragically succumbed to their injuries.
According to the reports, after PM Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled, Selim and his son Shanto fled to their village. On their journey, they were joined by the violence that occurred in Farakkabad Bazar of Balia Union. Later at Bagarabazar area, both were attacked by an angry mob who killed them. The incident and death of both Selim and Shanto Khan was confirmed by Sheikh Mohsin Alam, Chandpur Sadar Police Station officer in-charge. Shanto Khan was the son of famous Bangladeshi film producer Selim Khan, who also had links to India's Bengali film industry. He was the chairman of Lakshmipur Model Union Parishad.
Not only this, Hindu Hindu singer Rahul Ananda's house was also set on fire by the mob. In the latest attack, a mob looted the house of famed Bangladeshi folk singer. Rahul Ananda is the lead of 'Joler Gaan' band. After the mob attacked his 140 years old house, 3,000 musical instruments that was present at his house were destroyed. Rahul along with his wife and 13-year-old son thankfully managed to escape at time and is safe. After the saddening incident took place, the Joler Gaan band members questioned, ""But how do we put off this fire of revenge? Why can't we win everything over with love? We welcome the dream for the future, but our celebration must not break someone else's dream."
