The actress was seen shedding tears in the viral video as she revealed that she was attacked by a biker while she was driving. In another video, she was seen revealing the number plate of the biker. Payel Mukherjee Shares Video Of Being Attacked By Biker In Kolkata

Bengali actress Payel Mukherjee shared a video of herself wiping off her tears as she was pointing out being attacked by a biker as she was driving late at night on Friday. The incident took place on late at night in Southern Avenue amid the ongoing protest in RG Kar Medical College regarding the rape and murder of a young lady doctor on August 9. Payel was one of the actresses from Tollywood who raised the voice on the issue.

Now, it may raise concerns on whether the attack is related to the heinous incidents witnessing the video where Payel claimed that a biker stopped her SUV car and asked her to come out of it. Upon refusing, the man smashed the right windown of the car leaving the actress injured. She could be seen saying in the video, "I don't know where we stand now. If a woman can be accosted and heckled in such a way in a crowded street in the evening, that exemplifies the real situation. And this happens amid rallies taken out all over the city on the issue of women's safety."

She shared the video with a caption, "The first live Video from the crime scene? Where are we living??"

She also posted another video where she shared the details of the bike and the number plate which is of Tamil Nadu's.
