After swooning us over with his sizzling chemistry with Kim Hye-yoon in 'Lovely Runner', Byeon Woo-seok has reportedly been confirmed to romance Lee Ji-eun aka IU in his next romantic kdrama.

Set in an alternate version of Korea governed as a constitutional monarchy, the upcoming kdrama will mark Woon-seok's first onscreen collaboration with IU.

Earlier today (Monday, December 2), Kakao Entertainment has reportedly confirmed Byeon Woo-seok and IU's upcoming romantic k-drama. Titled 'Wife Of A 21st Century Price', the show follow the love story between Sung Hee-joo - a chaebol heiress - and Lee-ahn, a prince. Reportedly, the said kdrama is likely to air in late 2025.

As per the report suggests, IU will play the role of Sung Hee-jo, the young, beautiful, brilliant and ambitious second daughter of Korea's largest conglomerate family. On the other hand, Woo-seok takes on the role of Lee Ahn, the second son of the king but lacks wealth or power.

Reportedly, Hee-jo enjoys her perfect life but things take a dramatic turn when her commoner status disrupts her life of privilege. this is when she crosses paths with Lee Ahn.

Leen Ahn spends his life hiding his royal status but things change after he meets Sung Hee Jo.
