Zaira Wasim's Father Passes Away: Dangal fame actress Zaira Wasim, who was last seen in Priyanka Chopra's Sky Is Pink, took to Instagram and announced that her father, Zahid Wasim, passed away. She also asked fans to keep him in his prayers. Zaira Wasim's father once accompanied the actress along with her mother to a film event a few years ago.

Zaira Wasim's father, Zahid Wasim, took his last breath. Although the reason and timing of his death is unknown, Zaira took to her Instagram handle on Tuesday niight sharing a childhood picture of herself kissing her father on his cheek and wrote, "My father, Zahid Wasim, has passed away. Please remember him in your prayers and ask Allah to forgive his shortcomings, make his grave peaceful, protect him from its torment, ease his journey from here ahead and grant him the highest level of Jannah and Maghrirah. Indeed, we belong to Allah, and Indeed, to Him, we shall return."

Zaira made her Bollywood debut in 2016's blockbuster, Dangal, where they played the role of young Geeta Phogat, popular wrestler and daughter of Mahavir Singh Phogat, played by Aamir Khan. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial also starred Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Sakshi Tanwar, Aparshakti Khurana, and Suhani Bhatnagar.
