The seven-track tape draws inspiration from early 90s and 2000s hip hop, uniting Vancouver's Chani Nattan and Inderpal Moga with Toronto's rap star AR Paisley to create timeless music that transcends international boundaries.

The opening track 'Block Boys' merges the essence of early 2000s hip-hop with vibrant Punjabi sounds. This dynamic fusion showcases the artists' lyrical prowess while narrating their collective grind and hustle. The song sets the tone for the EP, highlighting their unique blend of styles.

Exploring Diverse Sounds

'Heater' features hypnotizing synths and bouncy bass-heavy percussion overlaid on laid-back production by Jass G. This track exudes an aura of dominance and carefree enjoyment. The vibrant and uptempo vibes of 'Dancer’, influenced by 90s disco, offer an experimental sound that stands out in the EP.

'Mehndi', inspired by the vibrant culture of Punjabi weddings, combines nostalgia with romantic undertones. This track exemplifies the artists' versatility, blending traditional themes with modern sounds seamlessly.
