The 14th edition of IFP in Mumbai attracted over 15,000 attendees, featuring workshops, performances, and global participation from creatives across various fields.

The fourteenth edition of IFP, a festival celebrating creativity and culture, made a remarkable impact by drawing over fifteen thousand attendees to Mehboob Studios, Mumbai, on October 12 and 13, 2024. This event stood out as a vibrant hub for individuals from a wide range of creative professions, including filmmakers, musicians, writers, and comedians, offering a diverse program that featured everything from workshops and live performances to masterclasses and debates. With this latest season, IFP expanded its reach, providing a unique platform for creative talents in various fields, such as Films & OTT, Music, Literature, and Comedy, to showcase their work and engage with industry peers.
Among the highlights of the festival was the participation of Hollywood star Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who made his inaugural visit to India to open the festival alongside Rajkummar Rao. The day one schedule was packed with notable sessions that included discussions on the art of film production, comedy, music supervision, and the journey of storytelling in different formats. Engaging figures like Aparna Purohit, Guneet Monga, and Vidhu Vinod Chopra shared their insights, while interactive sessions with artists like Naseeruddin Shah and Ankur Tewari further enriched the festival's offerings.

Day two of IFP Season 14 continued to captivate attendees with its insightful lineup, kicking off with a session by Shoojit Sircar on the nuances of filmmaking. The day was filled with engaging discussions featuring celebrities like Kartik Aaryan and Taapsee Pannu, and explored topics such as AI in art, narrative subversion, and the future of music and literature. This day not only highlighted the diverse talents of participants but also provided a platform for emerging stars, reflecting the festival's commitment to fostering new talent.
The festival also celebrated the creativity of participants from around the globe through its 50-hour challenges, which attracted 54,000 entries across various categories. This competition allowed creators to display their work and connect with like-minded individuals, underscoring IFP's role as a key destination for creative expression. Additionally, the festival featured a range of activities, including debate rings, mixers, and live performances, showcasing the dynamic and collaborative spirit of the creative community.

Reflecting on the success of the festival, IFP Founder Ritam Bhatnagar shared his enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to announce that the fourteenth season of IFP has been truly extraordinary, marking a significant milestone in the festival's history. Over the past thirteen years, we have consistently witnessed exceptional engagement from both participants and attendees. This year, however, surpassed our highest expectations. It's worth noting that participants from 42 countries and attendees from 9 countries joined us, making this a truly global festival."
