Pakistani Netizens Slam Islamic Preacher Zakir Naik

Islamic preacher Zakir Naik has been making headlines ever since he embarked on his month-long state visit to Pakistan. However, his controversial statements seem to be rejected by the Pak netiizens which is causing him to be brutally trolled by the majority including the media slamming him. Zakir Naik, who has been residing in Malayasia, has been visiting cities in Pakistan and can be seen giving speeches which didn't sit well with the netizens.

Zakir Naik Brutally Trolled After Visiting Pakistan

A recent video went viral of Zakir Naik, where he could be seen giving ill advice to the women looking for groom. He advised women to marry married men only or become 'bazaari auraat', and naturally netizens went furious. The video was shared with a caption, "Who invited him? Please don't invite such illiterate people next time!" One person wrote in the comment, "Basically, Pakistanis called him so they know why India and other countries have banned him." One Pak user wrote, "Oh my god !! I can't believe people actually follows him."

One Indian page commented, "Glad to see Pakistanis/Muslims talking against these bloody Islamist, like many Indians/Hindus openly criticize Hindutva ideology. Religion and religious leaders should always be shown their place. Otherwise, they can burn a whole nation. I wish that one day there will be a world without religion." Another wrote, "Reaction of the man behind him says a lot. This guy is wreaking havoc there."

On the other hand, Pakistani News Anchor lauded India's decision to ban him and called him 'pedophile apologist'.

One user wrote explaining how Zakir called 13-14 year old girl grown ups and slammed people who are supporting him, "State should invite reasonable people, we already have plenty of these roaming on the streets."

Another wrote supporting India's decision by banning him, "If Zakir Naik had not visited Pakistan, how would we have realized that India 🇮🇳 was right to ban both his entry & his Peace TV channel? We are always quick to label India as Islamophobic without taking the time to understand/consider India's perspective on their matters."

Naik, who focuses on comparative religion, was was accused of money laundering in 2016. He has been residing in Malaysia since then.
