IPL 2024: Rajasthan Royals Collaborate With Mayur Jumani For 'Chale Chalo' Remake On A Plane

IPL 2024: In a unique blend of music, sport, and innovation, music composer and producer Mayur Jumani partnered with IPL team Rajasthan Royals and cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal to release a remake of "Chale Chalo" from the movie Lagaan. The video, capturing teamwork and perseverance, was filmed entirely on a moving airplane from Ahmedabad to Chennai.

The Rajasthan Royals team joined Mayur in remaking 'Chale Chalo' to celebrate their win on 22nd May against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Yuzvendra Chahal asked Mayur to create a song on a moving airplane with minimal instruments. Mayur is known for his viral creations like "Ekdum Krishna Lage che," "Jalebi Baby 90's version," and "Chori Patata Hai".

Speaking about his experience, Mayur Jumani said, "Working with the entire Rajasthan Royals team while flying at an altitude of 35,000 Ft. has been an exhilarating experience; I had the best time making this track. We wanted to create something memorable that celebrates the spirit of 'Chale Chalo' and remaking it with an energetic group of people like the RR team was surreal."
