K-pop Idol Sentenced To 1.5 Years In Prison For Filming Ex-girlfriend During S*x

Surfacing K-pop idols' names in filming girlfriends during sex isn't new. Earlier, mid last year, former idol Choi was indicted for heinous charges that involved filming her girlfriend for whopping 18 times during sex. Now, without revealing name, it is reported that the K-pop idol is sentenced to 1.5 years in prison for the heinous crime. Fans are wondering whether it is Choi himself.

Former K-pop Idol Jailed For Illegally Filming His Girlfriend During Sex

On August 30, the Western District Court of Seoul sentenced the former K-pop idol to 1.5 years of jail for illegally filming his ex-girlfriend during sexual intercourse without her consent. He will also be undergoing 40 hours of sexual violence rehabilitation programmes along with serving 1.5 years of jail term.

Furthermore, he is prohibited from working in institutions where children, adolescents, and disabled people are there. The court has further ordered the immediate detention of the K-pop idol fearing the escape of A.

There were further reports that the former idol had pursued his girlfriend to wear a blindfold after which he filmed her and her body parts during their sexual intercourse while using a silent camera app during the time period July 2022 to May 2023.

Earlier, it was reported that he will face 3 years of prison, however, considering the fact that he hasn't distributed any clip and no footage has been leaked. It was also noted that he has never been convicted in similar offences.

Is It Choi Woo-yeong?

Well, earlier Choi's name surfaced in the same matter. For the unversed, Choi belonged to the 5-member male idol group, TST, that made their debut in 2017. In 2019, Choi took a break from the entertainment segment citing health reasons. The group fell prey to controversy after Lee, another member, was sentenced to probation for assaulting a minor.

Now, although the name hasn't been revealed in the recent reports, it is speculated by many that this can indeed be Choi Woo-yeong if fans connect the dots.
