Kolkata Doctor Rape Murder Case: It's been more than 10 days that the heinous crime has taken place in Kolkata at the R.G. Kar hospital where a 31-year-old PG doctor was brutally gang-raped and murdered. While the entire nation, even the world has come together including the celebrities from different segments, celebrities in Bengal especially Tollywood stars stayed mum after the wicked incident.

Although they have gone public to express their opinion on the matter after a few days have passed, their opinions and apparently insensitive responses have irked the netizens which led to brutal trolling of the stars.

Tollywood celebrities like Rachana Banerjee, Rituparna Sengupta, Dev Adhikari are facing the wrath of the public as they have opened up about the case when things have turned global after several international media celebrities reacted to the case. While Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Malaika Arora, among others penned heartfelt notes, a single message or note hasn't come from the Bengali stars by then.

However, days after when they shared posts on the same, they were found staged, insensitive, late, and even had no responses. For example, National Award winning Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta, mimicked the sound of 'shaakh' without actually using it actually. People around the social media bashed the actress brutally for faking her act while demanding for justice.

On the other hand, TMC MP and actress Rachana Banerjee, who is a household name for her show, Didi No. 1, trolled for coming online and sharing her opinion while crying and putting up a lot of base makeup, kohl-rimmed eyes, and nude lipstick in a sensitive issue like this. Netizens even commented that Rachana put some glycerin in her eyes to make herself cry.

Subhashree Ganguly, who is a leading actress of Tollywood movie industry and also the wife producer and TMC politician Raj Chakraborty, were trolled for not speaking up on time on the R.G. Kar case, while the issue was burning the social media, she was busy promoting her movie, Babli, with the team.

Meanwhile, Bengal's superstar, Dev Adhikari, who is also a TMC MP, was recently trolled by Netizens for putting up his vacation picture amid the rising tension in Bengal and not speaking up on the case.

Netizens called the celebrities 'spineless', 'inhuman', 'shameless', and whatnot!

To note more, it is to be kept in mind that celebrities reacting to the incident might not bring the desired change, however, it will make people aware, it will keep the people informed about the case, it might even force the administration to take stringent action as well!
