For those unversed, the pageant was held in South Africa's Kimberley from November 1 to 9.

Trishna Ray managed to beat finalists hailing from countries like Peru, South Africa, Kenya, Portugal, Netherland and Brazil with her confidence, beauty, charming personality and intelligence and became the Miss Teen Universe 2024. Anne Thorson from Peru became the first runner-up, whereas Nambia's Precious Andre bagged the spot of 2nd runner-up.

According to a report published by Kalinga TV, 19-year-old Trishna Ray is the student of KIIT School of Fashion Technology. She is the daughter of Colonel Dillip Kumar Ray and Rajashree Ray. As per NDTV, Miss Ray had won the Miss Teen Universe India pageant last year on April 13.

As reported by Kalinga TV, Trishna, who lives with her family in Cuttack City, comes from an army background, making her a disciplined and hardworking girl. Sharing the news of her big achievement, Trishna's institute celebrated her success and also shed lights on her struggles and set backs. It is said that the 19-year-old had missed her competitions in Columbia and the Dominican Republic due to visa issues.
