Parineetii Actress Marries Longtime Girlfriend In Traditional Wedding: In what came as a surprising and head-turning moment, a same sex couple tied a knot in a traditional ceremony in Gurugram. We are talking about Parineetii actress Anju Sharma who married her longtime partner Kavita Tappu who happens to be a make up artist by profession. To note, the couple was living together for four years before tying the knot. And now, their wedding pics have taken the social media by a storm and left everyone brimming with an opinion.

According to media reports, Anju and Kavita had tied the knot in April and have been sharing pics of their wedding ceremony on social media. In the video, Anju, who has been a part of several television shows, was seen dressed as a groom and opted for a cream coloured sherwani and a red turban while Kavita wore a red, heavily embroidered lehenga along with red chooda. The pics and videos featured Anju and Kavita taking their nuptial vows as per Hindu rituals.

Talking about their relationship, Anju told ANI, "I once invited her (Kavita) as my make-up artist for my shoot in Gurugram. She stayed with me for nearly 22 days. She was so well-behaved that even my mother liked her...She is extremely caring...We have been living together for 4 years". On the other hand, Kavita has called Anju extremely caring and stated that they are very proud of their decision.

To note, same sex marriage are not legal in the marriage and Anju and Kavita will not be able to register their marriage. Talking about the same, Anju stated, "Our marriage is not legal. It is legal and acceptable abroad, but not in India. I talked to my lawyers before the wedding about how to register it, to which they advised it could not be registered and would not be accepted as per law. We could get a live-in relationship certificate".
