Back in the late '80s, the Chameli Ki Shaadi actress allegedly had a steamy affair with the then-Indian batsman. The duo also posed for the cover of Cine Blitz magazine in November 1986 edition, which added fuel to their budding romance speculations. As per gossip mongers, Amrita even got engaged with Ravi but later ended it as he didn't her want her to pursue acting post-marriage allegedly.

Now, a throwback video of Ravi Shastri recalling his first meeting with his ex gf Amrita Singh is surfacing on the internet. In the video, when Shastri was asked about his 'most embarrassing' moment, he can be seen revealing that it happened when he first met his ex 'girlfriend' Amrita Singh.

"Jab unse pehli baar mila.... yeh ek restaurant mei tha Bombay mai aur jab main pehli baar mila unse toh pehle 10 minute mein maine ek shabd bhi nahi kaaha. Mujhe pata tha ki main ladkiyon se kaafi shy tha lekin itna bhi nahi pata tha ki ekdin aisa ayega ki mujhe chance hi nahi milegi ek shabd bhi kehne ke liye 10 minute.
