I feel that isn't right. What I mean is we should have subjects and films that empower women because they are important for the society and not just because it is a trending topic and hence it might be feasible commercially. If a film is made with good and the right intent, the commercial part will be taken care of anyway. Having said that, we truly have come a long way forward from where we were 10-20 years back. From justified pay for women to giving them equal respect as the male counterpart, we are slowly and steadily getting close to that level but there's a lot of work that needs to be done still. I think according to me, the biggest challenge is to focus on the right intent and keep away the commercial angle out of it. If we do that, we will make the industry an even better place for women to work and function. I am looking forward to that day," she stated.
