Film Industry Veteran Shobha Sant Takes Helm As CEO Of Creativeland Studios

Creativeland Studios has appointed Shobha Sant as its new Chief Executive Officer. Sant, an Indian film industry veteran, brings over three decades of experience to role. Prior to joining Creativeland Studios, she served as Head of Content Alliances - Films at Jio Studios and CEO at Bhansali Productions for over five years.

Sajan Raj Kurup, Founder and Managing Director of Creativeland, expressed his delight in having Sant on board. He believes her extensive experience and knowledge across films and creative industries globally will help create new benchmarks the company. Creativeland Studios is focused on championing quality content and talent, with the aim of taking India to the world.

In her role as CEO, Sant will lead the creative business across filmed entertainment, which forms a significant part of the enterprise. She will also oversee the talent business of AIG-India, a joint venture between Creativeland Studios and Artist International Global. Sant is excited about building a new age entertainment ecosystem that focuses on quality content across formats and world-class talent.

Sant will work closely with Sajan Raj Kurup and Alpa Golcha, who serves as Chief Operating Officer after her stint at Amazon Prime Video India and Dharma Productions. Creativeland Studios recently announced a joint venture with David Unger to promote Indian talent globally through AIG-India.
