Archita Phukan's Ex-Boyfriend Arrested

A page was created in the name of Archita Phukan which was later changed to Ishtara Amira where the morphed photo of Archita was uploaded, claiming that she is involved in adult industry. But as per India Today NE's report, these explicit photos of Archita were uploaded by her ex-boyfriend. As per the reports, the ex used photo manipulation tools to morph the photos and superimpose her face into a different body.

Dibrugarh Police have identified the accused as Pratim Bora. He has been booked under "multiple sections of the India Penal Code and IT Act." Bora has reportedly been charged with "Harassment, violation of privacy, and defamation."

Police have debunked the rumors of Archita Phukan being involved in the adult industry. As per the reports, they have stated, "She is not linked to any such content nor residing abroad. This was a deliberate attempt to malign her image following a personal fallout." A senior police further added, "The case exposes the dark underbelly of digital harassment and revenge p**n. We are committed to ensuring that the accused faces the full extent of the law."
