Be Bold Be Courageous EXCL: Khushi Mukherjee, who is known for her bold and beautiful avatar, doesn't shy away to showcase her sensuality. The actress, who turned out a creator for her upcoming film, Be Bold Be Courageous, recently spilled the beans about her bitter experience in the industry when she started her career. The actress spilled the beans on the incident inside the industry, that tries to commodify female sensuality, in her latest interview with us.

Khushi Mukherjee On The Dark Side Of Industry Commodifying Female Sensuality

Khushi Mukherjee, who wants her sensuality to be her signature, doesn't mind to be unapologetically herself. However, Khushi admitted that she too faced the 'exploitation' like 'everybody does' when asked about the same. She further revealed, "Sometimes people don't want to open up about it." The actress further reinstated, "Nobody forces you, it's all about your choice whether you would like to be exploited or exploit your sensuality. I chose to exploit my sensuality in my own way."

Talking about one such incident, Khushi spilled, "When I was 18, I signed my first film and went for a photoshoot, the financers approached me and wanted to spend some time with me. And when I refused, I was thrown out of the script. The casting director called me and took me to a shelter, he was quite forcing on to me & gave me the reason that 'you have to do it at one point of time so why not now'."

Khushi Mukherjee aims to redefine the sensuality in Indian Cinema so that it paves the way for women to portray their authentic self on screen. Taking the examples of legends Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar, who showcase their talents for being blessed with good voice and sporting spirits respectively, Khushi said that she likes 'showing off her body' as she is blessed with a 'good body' that she likes to flaunt.

Speaking about Be Bold Be Courageous, Khushi spilled her agenda on empowering women, who were someway or the other exploited or touched inappropriately or had childhood trauma, "Sometimes society teaches us that it's okay, but it's not. Even if it is your husband, women have to learn to say no," Khushi concluded.
