The actor gets candid and opens up about his transformation journey over the years.
When asked about the motivation behind his transformation journey and how he set his goals, he said, "The motivation came from within-I wanted my body to reflect the same level of dedication I have for my craft. As an actor, your physicality adds layers to your performance. I didn't want to be restricted by limitations of stamina, flexibility, or screen presence. So I set my goals around becoming a more agile, lean, muscular, and versatile performer-someone who could physically embody any role with conviction and energy."
Speaking about the physical and mental challenges he faced during the journey, he shared, "Physically, the grind was real. Whether it was pushing through soreness, sticking to a strict diet, or adapting to different forms of training like CrossFit, Boxing, and Calisthenics-it constantly tested my limits. Mentally, balancing career uncertainty, long shoot schedules, and personal low phases made it tough to stay consistent. But I kept reminding myself that showing up every day, even on the tough days, is what truly builds discipline and resilience."

Talking about his diet plan and how he maintained consistency, he revealed, "My current transformation is guided by Abhijith Poojary, My physique-including my muscle development and abs-is 100% natural, achieved without the use of any steroids or enhancers. I've built it solely through disciplined training and a clean, high-protein vegetarian diet. My workouts are a dynamic mix of CrossFit, Boxing, Calisthenics, Swimming, Cycling, and MMA, challenging every part of my body 5-6 days a week. Consistency came from treating this journey like any acting project-committed, focused, and non-negotiable."
When asked how the transformation impacted his acting career, he said, "Definitely. The transformation elevated not just my appearance but also my performance quality. It gave me the strength and endurance to meet the physical demands of lead and flexibly active roles. Directors and casting teams saw the shift-not just in how I looked, but in how I carried myself on screen. It opened up new opportunities and gave me the confidence to approach a wider range of characters."
Lastly, speaking about how this journey transformed him as a person in terms of confidence, discipline, and mindset, Jay reflected, "This journey reshaped me inside out, developing a stronger mindset, deeper discipline, and a new level of self-respect. Confidence comes from doing the hard work when no one's watching. It made me more grounded-not just as an actor, but as a person. Fitness is no longer just about the body; it's about balance, inner clarity, and showing up for myself every day. In the end, it's not just about the destination, but the journey-a lesson that applies to any field."
