According to PTI, as updated till 10:34 AM, RJD's Khesari Lal Yadav is trailing in Chapra. Yes, you read that right. BJP's Chhoti Kumari takes the lead in the Bihar Election Results 2025 by 974 votes.
According to the latest TOI update, as counting progresses in Chapra, BJP's Chhoti Kumari extends her lead to 1,627 votes after the second round, currently standing at 5,849 votes. On the other hand, the Bhojpuri star has slipped further behind with 4,213 votes.
So far, according to India Today, JDU - Janata Dal (United) - is leading in 31 seats, while RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) holds a lead in 17 seats in Bihar's Chapra assembly.
Who Is Chhoti Kumari?
Chhoti Kumari, the strong BJP contender opposing Bhojpuri superstar-turned-politician Khesari Lal Yadav, is a well-known political figure in the Chhapra Assembly constituency of Bihar's Saran district. She currently serves as the Zila Parishad Chairperson, earning recognition for her administrative involvement at the local level.
As per details available on the MyNeta portal, Chhoti Kumari possesses assets valued at approximately ₹1.4 crore and has no criminal cases or outstanding liabilities listed against her.
