This year, the influencer made a grand comeback at the Cannes 2025 and her red carpet outfits have been grabbing a lot of attention. However, singer Neha Bhasin has called out Nancy Tyagi for allegedly lying about her 'self-stitched' outfit at Cannes 2025.

For her 2nd appearance on the Cannes 2025 red carpet on the French Riviera, Nancy Tyagi created a pearl-embedded mini dress embedded with crystal fringes which she paired with a cape-style long jacket featuring dramatic sleeves.

Sharing pictures and videos of herself in that dress from the Cannes 2025 red carpet, Nancy captioned her Instagram post, "Ye colour meri mummy ka favourite hai, isliye iss baar decide kiya ki isi colour mein dress design karun. Isse banane mein poora one month laga, aur main last moment tak taiyaari mein lagi rahi, kyunki dress kaafi heavy thi. Dil se shukriya un sabhi ka jo is pyaari journey ka ek hissa rahe, aap sabke bina yeh moment vapis itna special nahi hota❤️ (sic)"

Cannes 2025: Neha Bhasin Accuses Nancy Tyagi Of Lying About Her 'Self-Stitched' Dress

Sharing a video of Nancy Tyagi's crystal-embedded mini dress on her Instagram story, Neha Bhasin claimed that Nancy did not make her dress and bought it from a fashion store in Mumbai.

"This corset looks too familiar hmmmm. Just wondering," she wrote on her Instagram story. Soon after this, she posted yet another story, a picture of herself wearing the same dress and captioned it, "Same same.". She shared those pictures side-by-side for comparison, further solidifying her accusation.

Earlier today, she shared another story, adding The Source Bombay's Instagram post featuring that same dress. For those unversed, The Source Bombay is apparently a fashion store in Bandra, Mumbai, that sells and rents customised clothing.

According to The Free Press Journal, when they contacted The Source Bombay's founder and stylist Surbhi Gupta, she confirmed that Nancy Tyagi had bought the pearl-embedded dress from their store at Rs 25,000.

"Nancy claims she stitched it herself and all of that, but she bought it from us," she told the portal.

Surbhi added, "She got it from our Mumbai store. We don't have any problem. She purchased it, so she's free to do what she wants with it. But it is our design. We didn't do a barter or a collaboration. She did not stitch it herself, which she claims she did. The cape she wore doesn't belong to me... that's something she seems to have made herself, I guess. (sic)"

Nancy Tyagi is yet to break her silence on the accusations.
