The IPL 2025 final match was nothing short of cinematic. It was held at the roaring Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad where Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) finally lifted their first-ever IPL trophy after 18 seasons of heartbreak.

Led by Rajat Patidar, who stepped up as captain in a surprising mid-season twist, RCB posted a solid 190/9. Punjab Kings, captained by a composed Shreyas Iyer, chased valiantly but fell short by just six runs, finishing at 184/7. Krunal Pandya's clutch spell (2/17) turned the tide, earning him Player of the Match honors. The win wasn't just a victory-it was an emotional release for RCB fans, long labeled the "unluckiest" in the league. More than 90,000 fans packed the stands, but joy turned to sorrow back in Bengaluru, where a stampede during celebrations left 11 dead.
