Ed Sheeran On Bangalore Performance Controversy: After the concert in Bangalore, Ed Sheeran was seen performing an impromptu gig at Church Street. However, the police stopped the British singer and songwriter when he was in the middle of his song "Shape Of You." Before starting the song he said to his fans, "We were going to play more than one song but we're being asked to play one song." However, in the middle of his song "Shape Of You," Ed Sheeran was interrupted by the police as they pulled off the cable of the microphone and musical instruments.

Addressing Ed Sheeran's impromptu performance on Church Street and allegedly creating the chaos, DCP Central Bengaluru, Shekar T Tekkannanavar said, "Chetan, a member of the organizing team, approached me for permission to hold a concert on Church Street. I clearly rejected it, saying that Church Street becomes too congested. As per the high court order, several evacuations have taken place, so we did not permit Ed Sheeran to perform. That is why he was asked to vacate the place."

After the chaos was created, Ed Sheeran took to his Instagram to address the matter. He wrote, "We had permission to busk btw, hence us playing in that exact spot, was planned out before." He added, "It wasn't just as randomly turning up. All good though. See ya at the show tonight x."

Talking about is recent performance with Shilpa Rao in Bangalore, Ed Sheeran said, "Obsessed with @shilparao's voice for the last while, a real privilege to share the stage tonight, and learn a new language!"
