Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025 Winners Prediction: Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla is all set to come up with its 8th edition and the Filmfare committee has announced the nominations on Friday at an event in Kolkata. Filmfare Awards Bangla is set to take place on JW Mariott Kolkata on March 18, 2025 where the best talents from Bengal film industry will be awarded with the 'Black Lady'. The prestigious award ceremony, where talents like Subhashree Ganguly, Puja Banerjee, Barkha Bisht are set to perform, will be hosted by Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Raj Chakraborty, & Puja Banerjee.

Now, as the award committee has announced the nominations of the year, here we are with the winner prediction of the best film caategory. So which film will win big this time- Ajogyo or Bohurupi? Let's find out!

Which Movie Will Bag 'Best Film' Award- Ajogyo Or Bohurupi In Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025?

Filmfare has already announced six films in their nomination list and they are- Ajogyo, Bohurupi, Chaalchitro: The Frame Fatale, Khadaan, Padatik, and Shontaan. While Ajogya or Bohurupi seems to have the higher chances of winning the title, Khadaan and Shontaan are also not far behind. However, as per our prediction, Bohurupi might emerge to be the winner in the Best Film category.

Bohurupi has also emerged to be leading the nominations list with 16 nominations out of 25 total nominations in total. The second spot in the list is grabbed by Padatik with 14 nominations. On the other hand, the third position is grabbed by Khadaan and Chaalchitro: The Frame Fatale with 12 nominations each.

The conference of the Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025 was commenced with traditional lamp-lighting ceremony followed by unveiling 'Black Lady' by Subhashree Ganguly who is also nominated for Best Actor Award Award (Female) for her role in Babli. The conference was also attended by Jitesh Pillai, Editor-in-Chief of Filmfare.
