After that, an Instagram story of the actress has gone viral like a wildfire, on Thursday morning, where the Pakistani actress allegedly penned an open letter to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and urged him to take action against 'Pakistani Military' and 'Islamist Terrorists'. A screenshot of Hania Aamir's post went viral, where the actress allegedly wrote, the Instagram story of Hania reads, "Just because of General Asim Munir's actions in Kashmir, the entire Pakistani entertainment industry has been banned in India, and even social media accounts are being restricted."
It continued with addressing PM Modi while blaming the Pakistani army and 'Islamist Terrorist', "I respectfully request the Prime Minister of India: we, the common people of Pakistan, have done nothing wrong to India. It is the Pakistani army and Islamist terrorists who are behind the Pahalgam terrorist attack. So why are you punishing ordinary Pakistanis? Please take action against the Pakistani army and the terrorists, not the innocent citizens."
However, it turns out that the post is fake, an X user posted the screenshots of her stories, and wrote, "Stop spreading misinformation ⚠️🚨⚠️🚨⚠️🚨 Hania Aamir hasn't posted anything like that in her story ! It's edited. I'm not defending her. But that's true 🙌 STOP SPREADING MISINFORMATION !"
For the unversed, the accounts of Pakistani celebrities, including Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan, Ali Zafar, Sajal Ali, and Iqra Aziz, were banned by Instagram India on April 30, 2025, as the situation between Pakistan and India escalates owing to the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, that claimed the lives of 26 civilians.
