IIT Baba 'Beaten Up' During Debate: IIT Baba aka Abhay Singh has been making headlines recently after a video went viral where he could be seen in between a heated argument with a few saffron-clad men during a news channel debate program. Things turned worse when Abhay threw a cup of tea on the employee of the news channel. Later he claimed in his LIVE broadcast from his social media account, "It was all pre-planned. I was offered weed before the programme started. They wanted to prove that I speak and do things in an intoxicated state...They extensively planned it behind the scenes...There is an organised sect behind this."

"The interview was going on well. We had agreed for a podcast interview, but they had called dharma gurus there. I told them that I don't give attention to negativity and that the set-up was not as per the deal. They then asked everyone to leave and did not go live...I went live on Instagram after that...They thought they could fool me...," he added.

Further elaborating the situation on how he was assaulted, IIT baba went ahead, "They were doing physical torture on me and the cameraman were standing and watching there...They locked the studio gate from inside and were not allowing me to leave...I did not even intervene in the questions they wanted to ask, but only asked them for a simple podcast format since they do not talk properly...When I sat outside in the corridor, the cameramen of the news channel did not try to stop the babas yelling on me, and instead continued to record it as they wanted drama...They wanted to build a narrative, which they have been doing since the Kumbh."

He has also shown the complaint letter that he filed to the police regarding the assault and it has now gone viral in social media.

Well, he indeed filed a complaint to the police that saffron-clad people have attacked him and sat outside the police outpost in sector 126 in Noida. However, he had to withdrew the protest upon being convinced by the police. The SHO of Sector 126 police station, Bhupendra Singh, stated that he didn't lodge any complaint post the incident.

Earlier, IIT baba's another video went viral where he claimed that Pakistan will win the ICC Champion's Trophy match between India and Pakistan. For which Abhay was tagged as 'anti-national' and 'Pakistani-agent' on the same controversial show. Later, Abhay claimed it's media which has projected him in the bad manner.
