India's Got Latent Controversy Update: Ranveer Allahbadia Appears Before Guwahati Police, WATCH Video

Ranveer Allahbadia Appears At Guwahati Cyber Police Station: Ranveer Allahbadia has been in the news since his involvement in the "India's Got Latent" controversy. The YouTuber's remark on Samay Raina's show caused a public uproar, which later resulted in legal proceedings. The legal controversy started when an FIR was registered by the Guwahati Police on February 10, 2025. Allahbadia, or BeerBiceps, was charged with encouraging obscenity along with other influencers like Ashish Chanchlani and Apoorva Makhija. On Friday, March 7, Ashish was spotted reporting himself to the Guwahati Cyber Police.
Ranveer Allahbadia Appears At Guwahati Cyber Police Station
Ranveer Allahbadia aka BeerBiceps was spotted on Friday at Guwahati Cyber police station. He was at the police station to record his statement over 'India's Got Latent' controversy. Watch the video of him being held by one of the police officers while at Guwahati Cyber police station.
Ranveer was wearing a white shirt along with shades as he walked the stairs with officials holding both his hands. In the video, we could see one police officer who is wearing the uniform is holding tha actor's hand while they rapidly climp the staircase. On the other side, Ranveer's hand is held by a person wearing the white uniform.
According to Assam tribune's report, the influencer was grilled for about 3 and a half hours by Panbazar Crim Brand in Guwahati. Reportedly, he was asked questions regarding his appearance and the comment he made at India's Got Latent.
Before Ranveer, Ashish Chanchalani appeared before Guwahati Crime Branch last week. Regarding the same, Ankur Jain, Joint Commisioner of Police, said, "Ashish Chanchalani showed up for interrogation at the Crime Branch. He has complied with our inquiry. We will phone him if necessary, but we are not currently calling him again."
An FIR was registered against YouTubers and influencers, Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchalani, Apoorva Mukhija, Samay Raina, and others, at Guwahati Police station on February 10, 2025, related to their "vulgar" comments in the show. The case is currently being investigated under Guwahati Crime Branch. The FIR against these influencers have been lodged under sections 79, 95, 294, and 296 of BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) along with Section 67 of ITA (Information Technology Act).
