Mika Singh took to Instagram to address the recent controversy around India's Got Latent. He wrote, ""I've been following the controversy surrounding @maisamayhoon and @beerbiceps , and while I find the show entertaining, I strongly feel that the excessive use of abusive language needs to be addressed (sic)." He added, "It's essential to maintain a balance between creative expression and responsible storytelling. Let's promote positive and respectful content! (sic)"

Mike Singh further looked down upon the singers, calling them their brothers, who went to the show as a judge. Mike dubbed for India's Got Latent's Ranveer Allahbadia's episode "wahiyat." The singer said, "Maine bhi wo episode dekha hai, bhot his wahiyat, bhot hi ajeebo kism ki usmein galiya de rahe hain, ma behen ki galiyan de rahe hain..." Taking a dig at social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, Mika said "ek ladki bhi usme thi, jiska naam mujhe nahi pata, wo bhi bhot galiyan de rahi hai."

Mika Singh said that he avoids such podcasts. However, he believed "inko rok lagane ke liye koi chahiye," therefore Mika felt the need to address the matter. Calling Samaya Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, and Apoorva (Rebel Kid) "gadhe log," Mika Singh showed disappointment over people commenting on his, Diljit Dosanjh, Karan Aujla and other singers getting notice over their songs. He said, "Diljit Dosanjh jo itna bada show kr raha hai, aap uspe muh utha k case p case thok dete ho, notice bhej dete ho, aapko ye log nahi naza aa rahe jo maa-bap ki galiyan de rahe hain...."
