Jeet Adani Wedding Photos: In a heartfelt ceremony set against the backdrop of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Jeet Adani, the son of the renowned industrialist Gautam Adani, and Diva Shah embarked on their new journey as husband and wife. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate, traditional event held at Shantigram within the Adani township, adhering to the customs of Gujarati and Jain traditions. The festivities, which began at 2:00 PM on Friday, were a blend of cultural heritage and familial joy.
The union was celebrated with a special initiative known as Mangalseva, marking the couple's commitment to societal welfare. Annually, this program will extend a helping hand of Rs. 10 lakh to 500 newlywed Divyang women, empowering them towards self-reliance and enabling their families to progress towards a future filled with happiness, peace, and respect. This gesture by Jeet and Diva highlights their vision of a more inclusive society.
Gautam Adani, the Founder and Chairman of the Adani Group, took to X to express his emotions on this significant day. ," he penned, sharing the essence of the ceremony and inviting well-wishers' blessings for the newlyweds.
Further reflecting on the simplicity and traditional essence of the wedding, during a recent visit to the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, Gautam Adani had remarked on the approach toward his son's marriage. He emphasized the simplicity and adherence to traditional values, stating, "Jeet's marriage is on February 7. Our activities are like common people. His marriage will be very simple and follow traditional ways." When prompted about the potential grandeur of the wedding and whether it would attract a 'Maha Kumbh of celebrities,' Adani firmly denied, reinforcing the private nature of the celebration.
Prior to the wedding, Jeet and Diva, whose engagement took place on March 14, 2023, shared moments of joy and community spirit at Mitti Cafe, an NGO dedicated to providing employment opportunities for those with disabilities. The couple extended personal invitations to their wedding to the individuals at the NGO, engaging in heartfelt interactions, cutting a cake, and fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity.
The wedding of Jeet Adani and Diva Shah, thus, stood as a testament to the blending of personal joy with a commitment to societal well-being and cultural traditions, setting a remarkable precedent for celebrations rooted in meaningful values and community engagement.
