Mary Kom & Her Husband K Onler Heading For Divorce? Here’s What We Know

Mary Kom Divorce Reports: World famous boxing champion and Olympic medalist Mary Kom, who has managed to leave everyone in absolute awe with the skills and made the nation proud, is making headlines for her personal life lately. According to media reports, Mary Kom has parted ways with her husband K Onler after two decades of marriage. Reportedly, Mary Kom has been separated and are reportedly heading for a divorce. For the uninitiated, Mary Kom and K Onler had tied the knot in March 2005 and have three sons and a daughter together.

To note, Mary Kom and K Onler's love relationship grabbed a lot of eyeballs post the ace-boxer's biopic had hit the screens in 2014 wherein Priyanka Chopra played the role of Mary Kom. While Mary Kom and K Onler's unconditional love won millions of hearts, the couple had reportedly been facing a rough patch post Onler's unsuccessful bid in the 2022 Manipur assembly elections.

Mary Kom & K Onler Living Seprately

According to a report published in Hindustan Times, Mary has moved to Faridabad with her kids while Onler is staying in Delhi with his family members. "Their differences escalated after the elections. Mary was reportedly unhappy about the financial losses - around INR 2-3 crores - incurred during the campaign and (the fact) that he lost," a source was quoted saying.

Mary Kom & K Onler's Separation Reason

While Mary has been upset over the loss in elections, neither Mary nor Onler have issued any statement in this regard. On the other hand, speaking on condition of anonymity, a boxer told HT, "The separation rumours about Mary Kom and Onler might not be just rumours. No one knows the reason for sure, though. Everyone whispers about Mary ma'am being in a relationship with another boxer's husband. Speculation has been fuelled further by her recent Instagram posts featuring him as her business associate."

To note, while no divorce proceedings have been initiated yet, a source stated that Onler is heartbroken with the separation and is struggling with a limited access to his kids.
