Operation Sindoor: Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan & Other Pakistani Stars 'Completely Banned' After Anti-India Remark

Complete Ban On Pakistani Actors: Operation Sindoor was conducted by India on May 7, 2025. After the strike happened, several Pakistani actors took to social media to condemn it. Calling Operation Sindoor a "Shameful attack," Fawad Khan said, "My deepest condolences to the families of those injured and killed..." Calling out the attack, Mahira Khan shared a post saying, "India, your war and hate rhetoric has continued for many years. Have seen and experienced it with my own eyes." As soon as they shared their comments on Operation Sindoor, their fans in India demanded a boycott. Well, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has now taken strict action against Pakistani actors:

AICWA Issues Complete Ban On Pakistani Artists

AICWA has issued a statement on social media, condemning the anti-India statement of Pakistani actors. The association wrote, "All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) strongly condemns the anti-India statements made by Pakistani artists Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, who have openly criticized India and disrespected our nation's sacrifices." AICWA further issued three statement:

"Complete ban on Pakistani artists, filmmakers, and financiers in India.
No Indian artist will collaborate or share platforms with any Pakistani talent.
Indian film industry must prioritize national interest over artistic collaborations."

The association further asked music companies and artists to stop promoting Pakistani artists. The association asked Indians to stand with India and not with people "who insult our country." AICWA further called the movie Abir Gulaal a "shameful example."

AICWA's Call

AICWA urged Indian artists to stand by the side of their country and boycott Pakistani artists. The association urged, "Indian artists, filmmakers, and the entire industry must choose - Stand with your country or with those who oppose it."
