Pakistani Actress Humaira Asghar Found Dead At 'Advanced Stage Of Decomposition', Investigation Underway

Pakistani Actress Humaira Asghar Found Dead: Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar was found dead at her apartment in Karachi. The death was confirmed by the police on Tuesday. DIG Syed Asad Raza said to Images that the body of the actress was found "from a flat in Ittehad Commercial in Phase-VI."

Humaira Asghar's age is reported to be in between 30 to 35 years. She was living alone at her flat since 7 years.

As per the Images report, the identified body has "died around two weeks prior to the discovery." The police arrived at the scene at around 3 in the afternoon. They first knocked at the door. After getting no response, the police broke the lock. They then discovered Humaira Asghar's dead body. Immediately, police were called in at the scene to collect the evidence.

"It appeared that the body was several days old," said the DIG.

Humaira Asghar Death Reason

As of now, Humaira Asghar's body has been sent for the postmortem. As per Niche Lifestyle's report, the death is reportedly "natural." However, the investigation is under process.

Humaira Asghar's body has been sent to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for postmortem. Dr Summaiya Syed said, "The body is in a very advanced stage of decomposition," as per Images.

Who is Humaira Asghar?

Humaira Asghar was a theater artist, a model and a television actress. She also described herself as a "painter and a sculptor." Humaira Asghar's Instagram handle goes by the name @humairaaliofficial. She had 710K followers on Instagram. She has appeared on various Pakistani television shows, including Jalaibee, Aik Tha Badsha and others. She was also the winner of National Woman Leadership Award in Best Emerging Talen and Rising Star category. Celebrating the same she once wrote on her Instagram, "This award means so much to me, not just as an individual, as a qualified artist, actress but as a symbol of what woman can achieve and support to thrive if they have given the best opportunities with realization of their true potential, authenticity and unstoppable energy ll be unlocked to make Pakistan shines nationally and internationally always (sic)."
