Ranveer Allahbadia Untraceable REAL Reason: Ranveer Allahbadia has been garnering headlines ever since the India's Got Latent controversy row took place where he asked a contestant about 'watching parents have s*x'. The comment caused a stir around social media and he was targetted by millions for his bizarre comment. After which several FIRs were filed against him, and police knocked at his door for further questioning. However, his apartment was locked and his mobile number was found switched off which caused major uproar around the internet.

Now, after being absent for a while, Ranveer issued a statement on Saturday evening taking to his Instagram. He wrote, "My team and I are cooperating with the police and all other authorities. I will follow due process and be available to all agencies. My remark about parents was insensitive and disrespectful. It is my moral responsibility to do better and I am genuinely sorry."

He further ensured, "I'm watching death threats pour in from people saying that they want to kill me and hurt my family. People have invaded my mother's clinic posing as patients. I'm feeling scared and I don't know what to do. But I'm not running away. I have full faith in the police and the judicial system of India."

Earlier it was reported that, Samay Raina was given time till March 10 to appear before the police after Ranveer made the comment on his show. On the other hand, it was Ranveer who requested the Khar police to record his statement at his Versova residence. However, upon reaching their on Friday night, the officials found it locked. So far, Mumbai police have recorded the statament of eight people including Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchalani and Ranveer's manager.
