Rubby Perez was born on March 8, 1956 in Dominican Republic. The singer made his musical debut with Los Pitágoras del Ritmo orchestra in Haina. Later he rose to fame after being involved with several musical groups including Choir Youth Guidance Society, The Youth of Bani in 1978, and Los Hijos del Rey, among others. Later in 1980s, after embarking on his solo journey as a singer, he delivered chart-topping hits like "Buscando Tus Besos," "Dame Veneno," "Enamorado De Ella," "Hazme Olvidarla,", "El Perro Ajeno," "Así No Te Amarán Jamás," "Sobreviviré," "Tú Vas A Volar," "Hipocresía," and "Tonto Corazón."
