How Did San Rechal Gandhi Die?

As per police sources, San Rechal Gandhi was battling depression. On July 5, 2025, the 26-year-old reportedly consumed an excessive amount of sleeping pills on the day of her death. Because of the same, she was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital & Postgraduate Institute. As per the reports, Rechal absconded before she was discharged. After that her health deteriorated. Rechal was again admitted to a private hospital before being referred to Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research.

Despite the advanced treatment, San Rechal died on July 12, 2025. Her body was sent for postmortem on July 14, 2025.

San Rechal Gandhi was a Pageant coach. She was also an International model. She lost her mother at a very young age. With the help of her father, San Rechal entered the modeling industry. She won Miss Dark Queen Tamil Nadu and Miss Best Attitude in 2019. In 2021, she emerged as the winner of Miss Puducherry. San Rechal aspired to win the title of Miss World one day.

Who Was San Rechal Husband?

San Rechal was recently married to a fashion designer and stylist named Sath Ya. On her D-day, Rechal wrote a long note for her husband, saying, "Love is a word that is much too soft and used far too often to ever describe the fierce, infinite and blazing passion that I have in my heart for you. I want so badly to be able to explain all the love I have for you."

As per Mathrubhumi's report, a suicide note was found at San Rechal's death scene. She explained in the note that her husband and mother-in-law were not involved in her death. The investigation is currently in progress.
