Directed by Mandeep Kumar, Sarbala Ji is a Punjabi comedy family-drama that has opened to positive reviews from fans and critics alike. The movie features Gippy Grewal as 'Sucha Singh', who requests his shy cousin, Gajjan Singh (played by Ammy Virk), to make him his 'sarbala' at his own wedding. However, things take a hilarious turn, leading to runaway grooms, dacoits at the baraat, and a wedding no one saw coming.

According to the trade tracking site Sacnilk, Sarbala Ji kicked off its theatrical journey on July 18 on a healthy note. With an opening day earning of Rs 1.15 cr, the film recorded a positive boost in the opening weekend due to the positive word-of-mouth. The movie added around Rs 1.55 cr on Saturday (day 2), followed by Rs 2 cr on Sunday. The total 3-day net collection of Sarbala Ji stands at Rs 4.70 cr at the domestic box office.
