The Bengali filmmaker and Television director's road accident that claimed that the life of 1 leaving 8 others severely injured has been under the limelight because of national media coverage for all the wrong reasons. However, after the accident took place followed by Das' arrest, several chilling details has come out that revealed it was not only Das but also several others from the Tollywood industry who accompanied him in the car. Moreover, they were all heavily intoxicated at the time of accident. However, one of them, which is reportedly Bengali actress and former Bigg Boss Bangla contestant Rii Sen, has managed to flee the spot right after the accident.

Who Is Rii Sen?

Rii Sen aka Rituparna Sen is a popular Bengali actess who rose to fame after her controversial films like Gandu and Cosmic Sex for which she garnered attention showcasing her bold form. She has also participated in Bigg Boss Bangla 2, hosted by Jeet, where she became the 2nd runner up of the season.

Sen, who made debut with Bengali film Tepantorer Mathe, didn't see the release of her first film in theatres after it was cancelled because of obscene scenes. She has also worked in television series like Tithir Otithi and Ekhane Akash Neel. She is currently seen in Video Bouma.

How Is Rii Sen Involved In Siddhant Das Drunk-driving Case?

According to the reports, Rii Sen accompanied Siddhant Das alongside Producer Shriya Basu and Actor Ariyan Bhowmick all of whom are currently seen in Video Boudi. The reports stated that the accused people partied all night at a bar on Saturday night along with Youtuber and former Roadies contestant Sandy Saha before the accident took place on Sunday morning. However, Rii managed to flee the spot and later stated to Zee 24 Ghanta, "I was present in the car during the time of accident. This is a very heartbreaking incident indeed, and I have no words to express. However, I was neither intoxicated nor driving the car."

After being questioned if she is telling the truth, Rii stated, "I came out of the car and surrendered that I was not driving it, and I was traumatized. The local people then helped me to escape the scene."
