Bengali TV serial director Siddhanta Das alias Vikto came under the spotlight after rammed his car in a crowded market area near Thakupukur Bazar in Kolkata on Sunday morning (April 6, 2025) under the influence of alcohol. As per Times of India, total 6 people suffered multiple injuries. One of the victims named Aminur Rahman died following the accident. Amidst the growing tension, former Roadie and content creator Sandy Saha's name has come up in connection with the case.

On Sunday morning, 35-year-old Bengali filmmaker and TV director Siddhanta Das (Vikto), along with two other co-passengers, was driving from Bakrahat towards Gariahat when he lost control of his car and drove it right into hawkers and pedestrians while being drunk, as reported by TOI.
Reportedly, 'Video Bouma' director Siddhanta was accompanied by Shriya Basu, the channel executive of the same channel and popular Bengali actress Rii Sen. It was said, they were celebrating the good ratings of their show and were partying at a club before the accident. While Siddhanta and Shriya were arrested by the police, Rii fled the scene after the accident.

However, both of them were also partying with them at the club. After making an exit from the club, Aryann and Sandy went to the 'Kakababu' actor's home to party more and Siddhanta, Shriya and Rii went away together in the same car. Reportedly, the were supposed to join Sandy-Aryann.
