As per NBC's report, a massive fire erupted at the main stage at the Tomorrowland 2025 festival in Belgium. The video shows black smoke emerging from the stage. The organizers informed through their official handle that no one was injured during the fire outbreak. As per the reports, the fire took place just hours before thousands of festival-goers were about to arrive.
Tomorrowland 2025: Will It Go As Planned After Massive Fire?
The organizers have made the official announcement on whether Tomorrowland 2025 will continue to have the same plan after the massive fire. There has been news circulating on social media that the music festival will now be canceled. The message saying "With deep regret and heavy hearts, we must inform you that Tomorrowland 2025 has been officially cancelled" is currently going viral. But is it true?
As per Economic Times' report, Debby Willemsen, a spokesperson for Tomorrowland addressed the viral message. He said, "There's a lot of fake news going around, but we're definitely expecting 38,000 visitors at the Dreamville campsite tomorrow. The festival will go ahead, albeit without the main stage (sic)."
Soon after the fire, Tomorrowland organizers took to Instagram to address the situation. After addressing that no one was injured and the festival will go as planned, they said, "We can announce that, DreamVille (campsite) will open tomorrow (Thursday, July 17) as planned and will be ready for all DreamVille visitors. All Global Journey activities in Brussels and Antwerp will take place as planned."
