WAVES Summit 2025: WAVES Summit is the latest big thing in the tinsel town at the moment, as all the biggest celebrities of India attended the event on Thursday morning. Some of the biggest names in the Indian film industry have attended the event, like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Shah Rukh Khan, Chiranjeevi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Allu Arjun, Kareena Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar, Mohanlal, Aamir Khan, and SS Rajamouli, among others, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the event on May 1. The World Audio and Visual Entertainment summit, or WAVES Summit, which is organized to connect the entertainment and media industry even more, is a 4-day event with a theme of "Connecting Creators, Connecting Countries." It is being jointly organized by the Central and the state government, and is being held at Jio Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.

There are 5 categories of passes to attend the summit, and each has a different price and conditions.

Business Visitor Pass: It is priced at Rs. 3000 and it will allow you to access the exhibition and sessions from May 1 to May 4.

Student Pass: Students' passes are free, and they can enter the specific areas of the event only on May 3 and May 4. They might have to pay a nominal fee of Rs. 99 to the designated areas on the mentioned dates.

Public Visitor Pass: Commoners can also visit the event with a nominal price of Rs. 99, however, they are also allowed to visit designated areas only that too on May 3 and May 4.

Exhibitor Pass: Exhibitor passes cost Rs. 30,000 and are given according to the size of the booth.

Media Pass: Media passes are given out only to journalists with accreditation.

Now, to book the tickets for the WAVES Summit, one needs to go to the official website of the WAVES Summit and book the pass by going to the 'Book Your Pass' option on the website. After which, you have to pay the price according to your category, and you are done!

In the WAVES Summit, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan stated, "The global audio, visual and entertainment economy sees our stories not only as art, but as assets of global and national value. Inspired by the grand vision of PM Narendra Modi. WAVES is more than a summit. It is a global platform and a catalyst for creators, innovators, disruptors and dreamers, (sic)" he said.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated in his speech lauding the youths and their spirit, "Youths' spirit, their work has no limitation, hesitation," while adding, "I want to speak with you about creative responsibility. Extra efforts are needed to take care of human sensitivities and sensibilities. We want to enrich humans and not turn them into robots."

Further speaking, the PM stresses the importance of the arts, while speaking about humanism, "It won't come with technology's speed. We will have to give importance to the arts and strengthen them. We need to save our young generations from tendencies that are against humanism."

"The creators need to take up this responsibility. Our animators should be connected to global visionaries. I invite everyone, all the creators of the world, to make India your content playground, (sic)" he said.

The 4-day event is concluding on 4th May, 2025, Sunday.
