In a significant move, his hit songs like Tuition Badmaashi Ka, 60 Mukade, and Khatola have been banned on YouTube for glorifying violence. Masoom Sharma, a resident of Brahmanwas village, responded to the ban by going live on Facebook, alleging discrimination in the government's actions.

HERE'S HOW MASOOM SHARMA REACTED TO HIS SONGS GETTING BANNED

According to a Jagran report, Masoom Sharma has strongly criticized the Haryana government's move, alleging selective targeting of his songs while thousands of similar tracks remain available on YouTube. The singer expressed frustration, claiming that if this discrimination continues, the Haryanvi music industry will suffer, pushing local audiences towards Punjabi music.

Accusing a senior official from the Haryana government's publicity cell, Sharma alleged that his biggest hits were banned at the behest of an influential individual who does not want Haryanvi artists to flourish. He further claimed that the same person was responsible for canceling singer KD Danoda's show at the Surajkund fair.

According to Sharma, certain members of the artist community have secured government positions but have failed to support Haryanvi music, instead using their influence to blacklist specific songs.

He pointed out that while one song each from singers Narendra Bhagana and Ankit Baliyan was removed to create an illusion of fairness, the main crackdown targeted his most successful tracks, each boasting over 100 million views. Sharma demanded equal action against other artists promoting obscenity under the guise of folk music, arguing that his songs were unfairly labeled as "mischief songs" while others remained untouched.
