Young Filmmakers Challenge For Waves

The prestigious World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) is set to take place bringing together thought leaders, industry experts, and creative minds to discuss the future of media, entertainment, and digital innovation. As part of this dynamic event, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B) has launched the Young Filmmakers Challenge, an initiative designed to nurture and celebrate young storytelling talent from across the country.
The Young Filmmakers Challenge invites aspiring filmmakers between the ages of 12 and 19 to showcase their creativity through short films lasting 30 to 60 seconds. The challenge encourages participants to harness their storytelling abilities, technical skills, and innovative perspectives to create compelling visual narratives. This initiative not only fosters digital literacy but also empowers the next generation of filmmakers with a platform to express their ideas and gain national recognition.
Young filmmakers can register for the challenge and compete for an exclusive opportunity to produce a professional film under expert mentorship. Shortlisted films will be showcased during a dedicated session at the summit, where winners of the challenge will be announced.
WAVES will serve as the grand stage for the event, featuring panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities with industry veterans. The summit aims to explore emerging trends in media, entertainment, and technology while promoting fresh perspectives from young talents.
