Much to everyone's surprise, Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and dentist-dancer-choreographer Dhanashree Verma had tied the knot on 22nd December 2020. After almost 4 years of marriage, speculations of their marriage hitting a rock bottom ignited a lot of buzz online.

According to a ABP report, Yuzi-Dhanashree are now officially divorced! Reportedly, the former couple completed the legal proceedings of their divorce, finalizing their separation on Thursday (Feb 20) at the Family Court in Bandra, Mumbai. As the report further suggests, the now-divorced couple has received their divorce certificate.

What's The Real Reason Behind Yuzvendra Chahal & Dhanashree Verma's Divorce?

As per the ABP News report, the final hearing and the final legal proceedings for their separation took place on Thursday. During the hearing, both Yuzvendra and Dhanashree stated that their divorce was based on 'mutual consent'. According to the same ABP report, when Yuzvendra-Dhanashree were asked about the reason behind their divorce, they cited 'compatibility incompatibility' as the primary reason.

According to an ETimes report, Indian cricketer Yuzvendra is rumoured to pay around Rs 60 cr alimony to Dhanashree post their divorce. As per several reports surfacing online, Yuzvendra's ex-wife Dhanashree supposedly enjoys a whopping USD 3 million, Rs 24 cr approx. The 28-year-old rose to popularity over her dance videos, Instagram reels and content creation. She also participated in the popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 11.
